What do the cast of Coming to America, Michael Jackson in Thriller, and Harrison ford as Indiana Jones( in the "Raiders of the lost Ark") have in common?

I am sure you could not guess, what they have in common is the beautiful talented and award winning costume designer, Deborah Nadoolman Landis. She graduated from UCLA and earned a PhD in Design from the Royal College of Art in London. She has lectured widely and also written a number of books.

She is the beautiful wife of John Landis, the director of the award winning Movie "coming to America". she created the look of the character in Indiana Jones, she designed the Red jacket worn by Michael Jackson in the Chart-popping musical video of "Thriller". She is even mention in the Big bang theory for her work in creating the characters of Indiana Jones and Michael Jackson's thriller.


I find the costumes of the cast of Coming to America as timeless. As the costumes were so accurate in speaking about the characters. The Mixture of prints and bold accessories for this she was nominated for an academy award.

The Costume that blew my mind away, is the wedding dress, a timeless beauty, that is still fit for a princess, even to this day.
